LAMMA 2023 – Full House!
26th February 2023
With the pandemic and cancelled shows seemingly a thing of the past, the LAMMA event which took place at the NEC in Birmingham on 10 & 11 January 2023 has achieved some very positive feedback & reviews from both exhibitors & visitors.
The UK’s premier agricultural event showcasing farm machinery, technology & numerous industry innovations was once again a place to visit early in the new year and the perfect shop window for those exhibiting. As usual the public support for the exhibition over the two days was commendable with over 40,000 visitors coming through the gates to experience the atmosphere of the event & meet some of the 600 plus exhibitors who had spent many days beforehand constructing & ensuring their stands looked professional and ready to greet the arriving crowds.
The T H WHITE Projects team (located in Hall 7, stand 758) were ready for business on a spacious & well equipped 6 x 5m shell stand with two open sides to the aisles allowing easy access for visitors to be warmly welcomed to discuss their respective projects. Reporting a very busy two days of discussions spanning on-site operations and application requirements, conversations also covered equipment servicing, new driers, cleaners and grain store opportunities.
As always LAMMA was extremely well organised and arranged within the NEC’s 11 expansive halls, each containing a variety of intermixed mechanical plant and equipment technology. This inside event offered a comfortable venue & environment to walk around & view what agriculture has to offer.
The early morning start for most, had the promise of an early bird English breakfast upon arrival and this soon saw the NEC car parks quickly fill. Adjacent M42 & nearby M6 & M40 motorways, this prime location also offers easy train or plane access from Birmingham providing a short commute between locations leaving time to browse the expansive halls of equipment and agricultural advancements.
As the Show closed on Wednesday afternoon and the remaining visitors left the exhibition, the feeling of an excellent show and well worth attending made up for the tired legs and dry throats from two days of non-stop dialogue, kept going by an array of stand snacks and beverages! Thanks to all of those involved in the planning & implementation of the PROJECTS stand which proved to be a great success in attracting both existing & new customers over the two days at the show.
Next year LAMMA 2024 will again be at the NEC and is scheduled to be held on Wednesday 17 and Thursday 18 January 2024 – A date for the diaries!
