40,000 VISITORS HEAD TO LAMMA!

1st March 2017

Members of the T H WHITE Projects team spent two days at the recent LAMMA event – the UK’s largest farm machinery equipment and agricultural services show held at the East of England Showground in Peterborough.

The T H WHITE stand – No. 322 – was fortunately in Hall 3 which, although not heated and on a concrete surface, was much warmer than the external stands exposed to the very cold and damp weather conditions!

Over the two days some 40,000 visitors came through the gates to experience the atmosphere of the event and meet some of the 900 exhibitors who had spent many days beforehand constructing their stands, ensuring they looked professional and ready for the crowds to arrive.

Being the first event since Brexit, it heralded some cautious optimism and plenty to debate and discuss around the showground. With an early start for most and the car parks quickly filling up, the numerous hot food vans around the site were doing a roaring trade as the bacon rolls and hot drinks prepared visitors for a day’s business.

T H WHITE Projects can report a steady flow of visitors to the stand, day one being particularly busy while over the two day period some very interesting enquiries were received, presenting new opportunities to explore with our customers and suppliers.

Thanks are due to all involved in the planning and implementation of the Projects stand at LAMMA which enabled us to spend two very worthwhile days meeting customers from around the UK.

The next event for the team will be the Cereals Show in June, being held this year in Lincolnshire where we look forward to another successful event for the T H WHITE Projects Division.
