A major cooperative grain drying and storage project for Aberdeen Grain UK

Aberdeen Grain is a farmer owned, grain cooperative based in Aberdeenshire. Established in 1984, they began with 32 members, 20,000 tonnes of storage and one 88tph dryer. In 2009, that storage capacity had increased to 65, 000 tonnes.

By 2011, they had over 180 active members, and therefore needed to substantially increase their intake, grain drying and storage supply.

To meet this need, T H WHITE helped them plan, design and construct a major grain storage and drying project allowing for a considerable intake ability. In doing so, they had added considerable value to the company, attracting potential new member and effectively future-proofing the company against increasing grain supply demands.
